# Billing and contracts FAQ

How 11x billing works: annual contracts by default, per-prospect pricing for Alice, per-channel for Julian, no setup fees, capped renewal increases, 30-day notice.

Common billing and contract questions. For tier tables and current figures see the [pricing overview](/help-center/overview/11x-pricing-overview), and always confirm against the live [Alice](https://www.11x.ai/products/alice/pricing) and [Julian](https://www.11x.ai/products/julian/pricing) pricing pages before committing.

## Frequently Asked Questions

<Expandable title="How is 11x priced?">
Alice and Julian are priced separately, each across Growth, Pro, and Enterprise. Alice is priced **per prospect, not per send**. Julian is priced by call and chat volume, quoted per channel. Growth pricing is published; Pro and Enterprise are custom-quoted.
</Expandable>

<Expandable title="Is 11x priced per email sent?">
No. Because Alice is per prospect, adding channels or lengthening a cadence does not change the bill. Optimize for what converts, not for what is cheapest to send.
</Expandable>

<Expandable title="Does 11x require an annual contract?">
Annual is the default. Pro and Enterprise support two- and three-year commitments with discount tiers.
</Expandable>

<Expandable title="Are there setup or implementation fees?">
No. Onboarding is included at every tier, and there are no setup or per-integration fees. Mailbox infrastructure for Alice and phone infrastructure for Julian are bundled rather than billed separately.
</Expandable>

<Expandable title="What is bundled that other tools charge for?">
For Alice: managed mailboxes, domain setup, warm-up, inbox rotation, and monitoring. For Julian: number provisioning, warm-up, and live transfers. Both include CRM sync and knowledge base. Worth pricing into any comparison, since bring-your-own-mailbox tools push that cost onto you.
</Expandable>

<Expandable title="What happens if we exceed our volume allowance?">
Volume allowances are set per tier. Discuss expected overage with your 11x representative before it happens - it is a normal part of tier sizing rather than an exception.
</Expandable>

<Expandable title="How much notice is required for non-renewal?">
30 days written notice.
</Expandable>

<Expandable title="Can prices increase at renewal?">
Increases at renewal are capped.
</Expandable>

<Expandable title="Is there a free trial?">
There is no published self-serve free trial. The entry point is a [demo](https://www.11x.ai/demo), where the team scopes volume and tier with you.
</Expandable>

<Expandable title="Do we have to buy both Alice and Julian?">
No. They are priced separately and most teams start with one. See [which plan is right for me](/help-center/overview/which-plan-is-right-for-me).
</Expandable>

<Expandable title="Does API access cost extra?">
For Julian, API access is included at every tier. For Alice, API access is an Enterprise capability.
</Expandable>

<Expandable title="What drives an Enterprise quote?">
Volume, seats, channels, number of distinct use cases, languages, enterprise requirements such as SSO and a custom DPA or SLA, and commitment length. Note that a single security requirement can put you on Enterprise regardless of volume.
